 In looking at our natural world and the basic systems that provide us life comes the realization that the future allocation of our resources will be determined by public policy and the ethics, economics, and politics of our times.
With increasing growth in certain areas of the nation, southern US and western US, some local and state governments have been unable to cope or develop adequate policy.
Also, with our current economic woes, the criticality of US citizens not paying attention to these policies early on and weighing in on the process could make life more challenging for the average citizen in the near future.
The outcome of resource policies at the local, state and federal government levels will shape our current and future lifestyles. We are just beginning to see this now with water wars in the western United States of America (US) and now in the southern US due to drought conditions.
